Foxy, your captain, and Jo, your hostess, welcomes you to Joy of London! They are both English but have lived in Turkey for many years. They appreciate the Turkish culture along with the stunning beauty of the country and love to share their knowledge with their guests.
Whether you want to drop anchor in a secluded bay to swim in the clearest clean waters, eat in a restaurant only accessed by sea, or maybe wander around some of the ancient ruins that Turkey boasts, they will make sure the charter fulfills all your wishes.

Visit Selimiye where you can wander along the waterfront to browse in the many unique little shops, have delicious iced coffee in Ceri’s cafe, eat fish baked in salt in the famous Sardunia restaurant or just sit quietly on the beach to take in the stunning views. Sail around to Sogut via Bozburun, to see Turkey as it was many years ago. Villagers walking their cows and sheep home after a day’s grazing, fishermen sitting on the sea wall mending their nets, but then you can also visit the famous Octopus restaurant, where, as you may have guessed, you eat delicious freshly caught octopus.
There are more than enough wonderful stop-offs to give you a new location every day and from this area, it is easy to do a short sail over to Greece.

Your first stop will be Simi. As you enter this town, you will see pastel coloured houses cascading down the mountain side, a photographer’s dream. Once inside the small town harbour, step ashore to explore the tiny Greek streets overflowing with local art and crafts. Eating is easy as there are many restaurants to choose from.
Leaving the town, you can sail around to the other side of Simi island to visit the famous monastery with it’s beautiful clock tower. It is not used now but you can go inside the small chapel that is so cool even on the hottest day.
Carry on to Nisiros, the volcanic island, where you can take a local taxi up to the crater of the volcano and see the hot pockets of rising sulphur. Maybe you want to visit Tilos, where they once had pigmy elephants wandering around.

Back on-board, you can laze around on deck to improve your tan or if you are feeling more energetic, try a little water-skiing or take out the windsurfer or kayak on board.
All in all, this yacht, along with Foxy and Jo, will give you all you could wish for when it comes to a truly memorable Mediterranean charter.
